How to Configure Your Game Settings (RO OpenSetup) If you want to adjust your screen resolution, graphics API, sound settings, or window options before launching the game, you will need to use the built-in configuration utility.

Follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Run the Setup Generator Open your main game folder. Look for the file named run_opensetup (it is a Windows Batch File with a yellow gear icon). Double-click it to launch the setup generator.

Step 2: Configure Your Settings Once launched, the RO OpenSetup window will appear. Here you can customize your gameplay experience: Graphics Device / Resolution: Choose your preferred screen size (e.g., 1024 x 768 x 32) and decide if you want to Play in Full Screen or keep it windowed.

Troubleshooting: Check Restrict mouse to window if you are playing in windowed mode and don't want your cursor accidentally leaving the game screen during intense gameplay.

Audio & Extras:

Navigate through the Sounds, Settings, and ROExt tabs at the top to tweak audio levels or advanced client features. Step 3: Save and Exit Once you are satisfied with your changes, click the Apply button at the bottom right. Click OK to save your configurations and close the window.

Tip: You only need to do this once, or whenever you want to change your resolution/video settings again in the future! You are now ready to launch the game client and play.
